14 DAY TRIAL // Good news for AT&T Lumia 920 owners, as the carrier seems to be ready to offer the long-awaiting GDR2 and Amber updates.
AT&T confirmed on October 1 that the Amber update for Lumia 920 would be available “in the coming weeks,” but did not offer any exact release date.
Well, it looks like it took the carrier 10 days to successfully complete GDR2 and Amber update tests. One of AT&T's community managers has just announced on the carrier's official forums that his company has completed testing the Nokia Lumia 820 and 920 Windows Phone software update on their network.
According to AT&T's official, Microsoft should start pushing the update beginning October 10. Keep in mind that when the update is available for download, Lumia 820 and 920 owners will receive a notification on their smartphones.
