The smartphone will be available at $99.99 (€76) contract free

Today, mobile phone carrier AT&T has officially announced the upcoming availability of the 4G-capable Nokia Lumia 520 smartphone for its GoPhone users, featuring a price tag of $99.99 (€76).

Packing a 4-inch IPS LCD WVGA display and Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system loaded on top, the handset provides users with appealing features, including support for Nokia’s HERE location services.

The handset packs a dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, 7GB of cloud storage via SkyDrive, and a 1430mAh battery that can deliver up to 10 hours of talk time. It will be released on July 26.
