Now that ASUS has finally unveiled the latest Eee PC nebtooks and has extended the Eee family with the desktop Eee Box, there's one thing that we can say with certainty about its small-sized, low-priced computer devices - and that is that they can provide almost every user with a varied number of choices concerning storage, display size and even design. So, no matter what your preferences are, rest assured that this Taiwanese manufacturer has something in store that will work for you.

Although news about ASUS' Eee devices has been anything but scarce just recently, the best part is that additional info just keeps on coming with each new day. Whether we're talking about products being released in some parts of the world, or about users reviewing their newly bought Eee PCs, everything seems to revolve around the successful brand that the company has become. This time around, we're hearing rumors about yet another version of the 8.9-inch Eee PC 900 being in the pipeline - and this one is coming straight from ASUS, as stated on the Chinese version of the manufacturer's website.

The Eee PC family is about to undergo yet another expansion, with the arrival of another Eee PC 900 model which will boast a 30GB hard drive. However, this is just about all that the new model is going to receive, meaning, more storage space. Everything else is going to stay the same, which means users will be dealing with an 8.9-inch screen size and 1GB of DDR2 memory. The netbook will be made available in two colors, black and white, and will offer the possibility of choosing between a Linux and a Windows XP Home operating system.

As regards the product's price tag, it looks like we will be dealing with an Eee PC above the $500 range. For the time being, no details are available regarding the date when the new product drops in stores or on whether it will be released in all parts of the world.

Nevertheless, what ASUS is doing with this future addition is to attempt to offer its users/customers as varied as possible a number of choices where the Eee PC brand is concerned. Then again, this can probably also be explained by the fact that it's trying to sell 5 million of these things by the end of the year.
