Looks like ASUS wants to win Google's confidence in order to more easily develop and produce its Android tablets.

According to Digitimes, the two are collaborating on a co-branded tablet, one with a screen size of 7 inches.

Its price will be of around $199 - $249 (151.83 Euro to 189.98 Euro) and the ETA (estimated time of arrival) is May, 2012.

We don't have any information on the product, except for the fact that Amazon's Kindle Fire is its target.

Either way, we suspect that Google and Asus will continue to work on slates even after this one is complete. Perhaps even a 10-inch model will appear in the future.

If anything, Google will benefit, since a partner of this sort is going to help its reputation now that Windows 8 is around the corner.
