Back at CES 2014, Toshiba introduced a bunch of 4K laptops, but it appears the PC manufacturing isn't the only brand vendor to take the 4K market by storm this year.

According to Notebook Italia, ASUS has a surprise in-stored for us too, as the company is planning a new high-end model, called the Zenbook NX500 which will come sporting an ultra-high resolution.

So far there’s not much information about the upcoming notebook, so I can’t actually tell you whether the Ultrabook has a 15.6-inch display or rather a 17.3-inch one, but just that its resolution will be 3840 x 2160 pixels.

Apparently, the NX500 will feature a high-quality aluminum housing, which would be expected of a high-end Ultrabook such as this one. The device has been designed as a multimedia device, so it will feature a capable sound system from Bang & Olufsen that’s supposed to provide high-quality audio experience through the ICEPower technology.
