Taiwanese mobile phone maker ASUS is getting ready for the release of its ZenFone devices on some more markets out there, and India appears to be next on the company’s list.

The handset vendor is currently said to plan on releasing its ZenFone phones in the country on July 9, while aiming at providing users with various screen sizes and price options.

According to Times of India, the company is planning on making these devices available for purchase in India with price tags below the Rs. 25,000 ($415/€305) mark and could also release them alongside MemoPad and FonePad products.

The ASUS ZenFone 6, which was made official at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, is one of these devices, set to hit shelves with a 6-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720p resolution, and with the Android 4.4 KitKat platform version loaded on top.

Moreover, the mobile phone sports a 2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor and is powered by either 1GB or 2GB of RAM, depending on the storage version. It was made official in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB flavors.

On the back, the ZenFone 6 features a 13-megapixle camera with LED Flash and full HD video recording, complemented by a 2MP front camera for making video calls while on the go.

The handset will be accompanied in India by the ASUS ZenFone 5, which went official at CES 2014 too, with a 5-inch HD screen and the same Android 4.4 KitKat platform loaded on top.

The phone was announced in 8GB and 16GB variants, with 1GB and 2GB of RAM inside, respectively. Moreover, it sports a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space.

Depending on the variant, users will enjoy either a 2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 or a 1.6GHz dual-core Atom Z2560 processor inside the handset.

Either way, an 8-megapixel camera will be present on the back of the device, with LED flash and full HD video recording capabilities, as well as a 2MP front camera for video calling.

We should also note that ASUS unveiled a new ZenFone 5 model at Computex this month, with a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor inside, and 2GB of RAM. The new device iteration features 16GB / 32GB of internal memory.

The ASUS ZenFone 4 will arrive in India too, with a 4-inch 800 x 480 pixels screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor inside, and 1GB of RAM. Moreover, the mobile phone sports 8GB of internal memory and microSD memory card slot (supports up to 64GB of storage).

Running under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, the handset also boasts an 8-megapixel camera on the back, though it was launched only with a VGA front camera.

As second-generation ZenFone 4 was made official this month at Computex, with a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 pixels touchscreen display and with the same hardware specs as the original.
