ASUS has made available several BIOS packages targeted at its Z87 chipset-based motherboards, which fix and improve features for the compatible devices. Below I will highlight all the boards included in the support list, as well as their related BIOS versions.

So, the producer has outed versions 0510 and 1205 for its Z87M-PLUS and Z87-PRO products, respectively, which improve the system stability, fix the XMP button issue, and modify the help string for the German language.

The Z87-K device gets BIOS 0412 that enhances memory and USB compatibility, revises the help string for the Korean language, and just like in the case of the above-mentioned boards, fixes the XMP button problem.

Another compatible board would be the Z87-C that benefits from the 1205 BIOS version, which fixes the Intel LAN that couldn’t disable Wake On LAN function.

In addition to Z87-C’s fix, the GRYPHON Z87 motherboard gets workarounds for the Korean language help string as well, thanks to the 1206 BIOS package that it benefits from.

Last but not least, BIOS version 1207 improves the DTS surround audio experience, but only with the Realtek HD Audio driver version 6.0.1.6954 already installed on each of the Z87-PLUS and the Z87-A compatible motherboards.

Now that you have taken into account all the changes made for each of the boards through the newly released packages, from the list below, click on the link that best describes your Z87 chipset-based device.
