The new release consists of separate download records compatible with a specific SKU only

ASUS has outed new firmware packages targeted at its latest devices, namely version 10.12.3.86 compatible with the New PadFone Infinity, and version 10.14.1.42 developed for the New Transformer Pad.

Because the New Transformer Pad-related firmware doesn’t benefit from any changelog whatsoever, I can only assume that, if installed, the new version will improve the overall performance and stability of the device.

On the other hand, the New PadFone Infinity’s firmware package enhances the PadFone and Station 2’s system stability, optimizes audio playback, and improves Wi-Fi and Miracast connection.

Moreover, the camera benefits from an image optimization feature, the e-mail options are enhanced, the Dictionary is improved, and the screen lock feature is better than ever.

Furthermore, the SMS template database is brand new, the input methods are optimized, and the phone call audio and video quality is improved.

And a last thing that I must highlight is that the release consists of separate download records compatible with a specific stock-keeping unit (SKU) only, and you should choose the correct package in the same way as for the “older” versions of the PadFone Infinity and Transformer Pad.

That being said, from the links below, choose the one that best describes your ASUS device, and from the list, click on the one that best describes your currently installed SKU.
