The newly released version must be installed only if the tablet’s stock-keeping unit is WW

ASUS has made available a new firmware package developed for its Transformer Pad TF300TL, namely version 10.6.2.10, which can be installed only if the device’s SKU (Stock-Keeping Unit) is WW.

Bear in mind that the update process isn’t capable of switching between SKUs, and cannot install an earlier firmware version. Doing so could lead to an update failure, which might cause the device to malfunction.

In order to find out your SKU, go to Settings → About Tablet → Build Number, and from there, you should be able to read it.

To be clearer, the stock-keeping unit consists of the letters before the first underscore line; if the build number is “WW_epad-10.X.X.X_2012xxxx” or similar, then the SKU will be “WW.”

Moreover, if the device’s currently installed version matches the latest one, then no further action is needed.

That being said, follow the link below, get the latest package for your TF300TL, and update its firmware version.
