Taiwan's ASUSTek, one of the world's leading vendors of computer hardware and personal computer systems, continues to expand its line of UnLimited series of laptops with the introduction of new 14-inch models in Europe. The new models have been designed to provide consumers with an alternative to some of the competitors' leightweight, ultrathin portable PCs. All three configurations have been designed to take advantage of the performance specifications of Intel's Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor.

Launched since earlier this year, the UnLimited series of laptops is one of the company's offerings for users looking to take advantage of features and specifications of Intel's ultrathin CULV platform. The three new models that have been made available to European users, further expand the company's UL Series, by providing consumers with a choice for one 14-inch ultraportable featuring the aforementioned Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor.

As far as technical specifications go, the three laptops, dubbed UL80AG-WX014V, UL80V-WX022V and UL80AG-WX008V, measure 330 x 240 x 14 ~ 26.8 mm and weight about 2kg. They are featured with a brushed aluminum display cover, up to 4GB of RAM and Altec Lansing speakers. In addition, all three configurations will be available with a choice for Microsoft's latest operating system, the widely-appreciated Windows 7 Home Premium.

The UL80AG-WX014V and the UL80AG-WX008V are both priced at 699 Euros and have been featured with the integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics chipset and 320GB and 500GB HDDs, repectively. These two will also sport Bluetooth connectivity. The last of the three, the UL80V-WX022V comes with the same storage option as the UL80AG-WX014V, but has been equipped with a better integrated graphics solution, namely the GeForce 210M from NVIDIA. These options are available for 799 Euros, with the UL80V-WX022V also boasting Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi.
