ASUS has just announced the introduction of its new TV Monitor T1 series, a new line of displays that has been designed to provide users with a choice for a desktop monitor and an LCD TV inside a single product. Available in three different sizes, the new series will provide support for HD TV broadcasting and Full HD Blu-ray Disc playback for a
true multimedia experience. According to the Taiwanese company, the new series boasts a number of unique features to meet the requirements of a wider range of entertainment enthusiasts.

The new T1 Series from ASUS will be available in three different models, each one sporting a larger display. First off, users will be able to go for ASUS' new 21.5-inch widescreen TV monitor, featuring support for a full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution. There's also the 23.6-inch and the 27-inch widescreen models, both of which have been designed to provide users with support for a full 1080p resolution.

Additional features that have been implemented inside ASUS' new series include the 16.7 million colors, a contrast ratio of 20,000:1, 300cd/m2 brightness and a response time of 5ms. In addition, the company has also included its own Splendid Video Intelligence Technology and has designed the new monitors with built-in 7W (RMS) stereo speakers. There are a number of input and output options, including HDMI, Composite, S-Video, SCART1, optical S/PDIF out, 3.5mm headphone mini-jack and more.

The use of ASUS' own Splendid Video Intelligence Technology will allow users to browse through four preset modes, including Scenery, Night View, Game and Standard. Unfortunately, the company did not unveil any details regarding the pricing and availability of its new monitor series, but we will try to keep you updated as soon as these become available.
