Looks like the not-so-fabled Transformer Prime Sleeve, the accessory that is not really a case and not really a stand either, has shown up on Amazon.
Like the tablet it is supposed to serve, the Sleeve is not actually up for sale yet.
Still, it did get listed on
Amazon, even though it is labeled “Temporarily out of Stock.”
The Transformer Prime Sleeve is made in such a way that it can be affixed to the two slots where the keyboard dock would normally go.
Multiple colors are available and it is possible to transform the sleeve into a sort of stand, for holding up the slate at two angles.
The video above should make it easy enough to understand how the item works. Hopefuls should just make sure they get the $39 / 39 Euro it takes to buy the thing by January.
