The company was remarkably vague as to what those “awesome” features would be

It wasn't really that long ago that ASUS released a new firmware for the Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet, but the company seems ready to bring a new one out.

In a recent post on its Facebook page, ASUS said that some nice features would come to the Prime soon.

“Awesome new features coming in the next Transformer Prime firmware update. Stay tuned!” was the exact statement.

Since the random restart problem has been mostly dealt with, we suspect ASUS is talking about more than speed improvements and bug fixes.

Face Unlock might be part of the deal, the feature that lets you log on only if the tablet “recognizes you” so to speak.

Ah well, we'll just have to wait. Too bad ASUS didn't actually say what exactly the software would be rolling out.
