If it still hasn't reached your tablet, you can manually download it

ASUS said about a week ago that it would update the Transformer Prime and Transformer Pad Infinity tablets to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and, lo and behold, it is really happening.

The ETA given was 72 hours and, sure enough, the Transformer Pad Infinity got its upgrade right on time.

There is still some backlog though, and it might be even worse for owners of the Transformer Prime.

Fortunately, the company is offering an alternative. If the Android menu on the tablet doesn't list the Jelly Bean package as available yet, owners can go to the ASUS download center and download an independently installable version.

All it takes is to search for the keyword TF201 and click on the single entry that shows up, then select the OS (Android, obviously). The firmware version is Android 4.1 V10.1.2.15 and the package size is 318.98 MB.
