Yesterday we told you about the upcoming ASUS Transformer Pad TF103 2-in-1 tablet/laptop hybrid with Android that was spotted listed with a European online retailer.

But in April it was revealed that ASUS also had the ASUS Transformer Pad TF303 in the pipe-line, which was expected to arrive with a more advanced configurations.

Now courtesy of the folks at MobileGeeks, we can provide you with the details regarding this 2-in-1 tablet that works in concert with a keyboard dock.

Compared to the model we saw yesterday, the ASUS Transformer Pad TF303 arrives with the same 10-inch form factor and draws life from the same Atom “Bay Trail” SoC, but boasts an FHD display and will be available with the optional LTE configuration.

As you can already guess, the new model has been listed with an online re-seller, revealing the Transformer TF303 is an improved version of the TF103, as we were expecting.

Nevertheless, visually you won’t be able to tell the two devices apart, because they look extremely similar. The ASUS TF303 comes with a 10.1-inch IPS display and offers a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels in 16:10 format.

Under the hood, ASUS has slipped an Intel Atom Z3745 quad core x86 SoC clocked at 1.33 and going as far as 1.83GHz in Turbo Boost, which it has fitted with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal flash memory (expandable via microSD card).

Other specifications include two cameras (5MP on the back and 1.2MP frontal snapper), Gigabit-WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The most notable difference between the two models is that with the TF303 ASUS offers the option of adding LTE. The price for such a model is listed as €582 / $582, which includes the keyboard dock.

The ASUS Transformer Pad TF303 is said to be capable of offering 10 hours of battery life and weighs just 595 g / 1.3 lbs. Snap the keyboard dock on and you will get a laptop that weighs around 1.1 kg / 2.4 lbs.

Good news is that the operating system running the show onboard is Android 4.4.2 KitKat, so you won’t have to wait for updates if you purchase this model.

Anyway, the tablet/lappy hybrid probably takes advantage of ASUS’ new ZenUI, since all the new ASUS slates leaking out so far, appear to be bundled with it.

There’s no mention of when the ASUS Transformer Pad TF303 will start shipping out, but by the looks of it this is bound to happen pretty soon.
