The firmware update should be easy enough to download

ASUS released Android 4.2.2 for the Transformer Pad TF300 earlier this month (March 2013), but it may not have reached everyone, for whatever cause.

That is why the company has now added manual downloads to its website, though they are of the Android 4.2.1 firmware.

We say downloads, as in plural, because the company has made the firmware available in three forms: Global, China and P2P.

All of them take up 500 MB in size (each) and fix various bugs, add new usability features, quick settings, lock-screen widgets, etc.

Overall, there is more than enough to lay credence to the idea that ASUS is the best when it comes to keeping its tablets updated. No one will be left in the dust if they missed the Jelly Bean update for any reason.

Update: Here are the links to the download packages.
