14 DAY TRIAL // The Transformer Pad TF300T has been out and selling for years now, but ASUS continues to offer support for it, in the form of software updates.
ASUS is actually quite diligent in that regard. Among tablet vendors, it has a good reputation for keeping its devices up to date.
The new update, a package of 17 MB, will fix an IME bug, improve HDMI compatibility with devices on the market, optimize Gmail compatibility with Splashtop, and improve privacy.
By that last point I mean that the Transformer Pad will prevent all but the owner from accessing any UI settings related to external storage drives.
Other than that, some minor bug fixes have been implemented.
Just head to Settings > About Device > System update to see if the upgrade is available, or go here to download it right away.
