A change log was somehow provided as well, surprisingly enough

Whenever it updates a device over the air, ASUS doesn't usually give a change log. This once, though, is an exception.

The device that will get its firmware refined is ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 tablet.

The new firmware version is v10.4.4.18 and has, as primary purpose, the correction of several bugs.

For one, the missing Google Bookmark sync function has been added to the Android Default Browser.

Secondly, there won't be any problems anymore with connecting some 802.1x Wi-Fi access points. This was one of the bigger annoyances that the Jelly Bean upgrade caused (Android 4.1).

Thirdly, the "Y" and "Z" characters are no longer opposite in ASUS Czech (QWERTY) keyboard. For that matter, the Backspace key on the dock will work fine in the Browser input field (it doesn't delete words randomly anymore).

Furthermore, ASUS resolved that pesky issue that prevented users from entering the system after upgrading to Jelly Bean when the TF700T was already encrypted. Encrypting in Jelly Bean with Wi-Fi on should stop locking the device too.

Finally, switching to front camera in Facebook app won't cause the app to crash anymore.

Settings > About tablet > System Firmware Update is where the update process can be started.
