A few changes are being made to the Lock Screen and settings menu

Several days ago, ASUS promised that the update from Android 4.0 to Android 4.1 would reach the Transformer Pad Infinity and Prime tablets soon.

Sure enough, the software is rolling out and, thanks to an owner who decided to share his experience, we know some of what the upgrade brings.

Obviously, Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) will improve pretty much every aspect of the tablet, insofar as software alone can accomplish.

There are some things that got a special mention though, like a Jelly Bean Easter egg accessed by repeatedly tapping the Android Version in the “Settings” menu. The lock screen is getting refashioned too.

Downloading and installing the update for the ASUS Transformer Pad infinity (TF700) takes around 15-20 minutes over Wi-Fi. For the complete (and very lengthy) change log, go here.
