ASUS has launched its versatile Transformer Book Trio hybrid onto several markets in the past months and now it’s time for India to get the same treatment.

The device, an 11.6-inch convertible capable of running in more than three distinct modes will arrive in the country just in time for Christmas, says Times of India.

When feeling like having fun, users can unwind using the Android-powered, tablet module of the Trio. But when it’s time for serious work stuff, users can immediately snap the keyboard dock, which has an extra battery embedded into it, to instantly get their Windows 8 notebook running.

Take the keyboard off and connect it to an external display and you get enjoy a full desktop experience, too.
