Backing up important data prior to upgrading is recommended

ASUS has made available a new firmware package targeted at one of its LTE Transformer Pads, namely version 11.4.1.28 for the TF303CL device, which should improve the unit’s overall performance and stability.

When it comes to installing this release, you should first check the currently installed version to make sure it isn’t either newer or matching this update. To do so, go to Settings > About Tablet > Build Number.

In addition to that, the upgrade process can be successfully performed only if the firmware used for this task is developed for the same SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) as your tablet. The software update cannot apply an earlier version or be transferred to another SKU.

In order to be clear, if the build number is “WW_fonepad-11.X.X.X._2013xxx,” then the SKU is “WW” and the currently installed firmware version is “11.X.X.X.”

With this in mind, save the appropriate downloadable package for your tablet’s SKU, unzip the archive, copy the newly extracted file onto an empty micro SD card, and insert it into the tablet.

At this point, the TF303CL should search the memory card, and when the new firmware is recognized, a system update message should appear in the notifications area. Simply tap on it and follow the instructions for a complete installation.

That being said, download ASUS TF303CL Transformer Pad Firmware 11.4.1.28 for the proper SKU, apply it on the device, and constantly check our website in order so stay “updated one minute ago.”
