Remember the ASUS Transformer Book T100TA? This versatile machine ships at a reasonable price, has a 10-inch screen and draws power from an Intel Atom Bay Trail processor. It also boasts a detachable keyboard, so users can use it as a laptop, as well.

The product ships currently with Windows 8 out of the box, but now it appears that the T100TA might have an incoming Android powered counterpart.

ASUS is already offering Android 10-inch tablets as part of its Transformer Pad line-up, but a new device that showed up at WiFi Alliance (via Tablets Magazine) indicates that the PC maker is working on a Transformer Book T100TA replica with Android.

The new model is called the T100TC and, apparently, comes bundled with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Apart from that, the device will support 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi-Direct and Miracast.

The model number is the indicator that the T100TC shares some family bonds with the Transformer Book T100TA, but at this moment, other information about the tablet is not available. Will it be another 10-incher with Bay Trail chip architecture?
