ASUS has been doing really, really well on the tablet market, especially 7-inch ones, and its other businesses (notebooks, motherboards, graphics cards, etc.) must have been doing decently too if revenues in September broke a record.

Well, “record” might be a strong word, but it kind of fits when considering that September revenues were the highest in the past 13 months.

They were of NT$42.111 billion, which corresponds to US$1.41 billion / €1.04 billion.

Own-brand tablets and the Nexus 7 helped here a lot, as did the 4.3-4.5 million notebooks in the third quarter.

Tablets should reach 7-8 million shipments for the entire second half of 2013. If sales go well from here on out, and if the winter holidays turn out well, ASUS may break its record again sooner instead of later.
