We all know that AMD’s “Tahiti” GPU is capable of reaching very high frequencies. The GPU designer itself decided to launch a new series of Radeon HD 7970 video cards that feature increased GPU and video memory frequencies without bothering to change anything in the hardware design.
The new line of cards is, of course, the Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition and you can flash your own “ordinary” HD7970 into an AMD
