ASUS has a full lineup of Radeon R9 and Radeon R7 graphics cards up for sale, but there is one that stands out from the rest: ROG Matrix R9 280X.

Featuring ROG VGA Hotwire technology, it should have a greater overclocking potential than all other 280X on the market.

DIGI+ Super Alloy Power components (solid-state capacitors, concrete-core chokes and hardened MOSFETs) and VRM-frequency tuning also number among its assets.

Power noise should be 30% lower than normal, and lifespan should be 2.5 times longer too, thanks to these assets.

ASUS has two versions of the ROG R8 280X Matrix: the simple one, and the ROG Matrix R9 280X Platinum.

Both of them will be up for sale three days from now, on October 11, 2013. The former is a 1 GHz card, while the latter is a 1.1 GHz adapter. Prices should be in the range of $299 / €299 to $350 / €350.
