When it unveiled its new line of Republic of Gamers products, ASUS made sure to include a complete desktop PC, one that has both high-end hardware and a button that can instantly boost performance in real time, among other things.

Apparently, ASUS let nothing slide when it developed the newest batch of ROG-branded gaming products.

While the gaming notebook, high-end graphics cards and motherboards were more or less expected, it seems that a desktop has also emerged.

Said system goes by the name of ROG CG8565 and, naturally, combines the might of top-tier Intel processors with the same level of graphics, memory, storage and connectivity.

Like with all other newcomers, the company did not perfectly outline all specifications, but some things were named out.

For one, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 graphics card is available as an option, this being the Santa Clara, GPU maker's dual-GPU graphics adapter.

Paired with the second generation Intel Core i7 central processing unit, as well as a hefty level of RAM (random access memory), it should handle anything and everything thrown at it with no problems.

In other words, its performance is already top notch, even in its base form, but ASUS, as one might guess, didn't let this prevent it from taking steps to ensure even higher performance is possible.

Normally, overclocking tasks are manually carried out by enthusiasts, but ASUS added a special button to the case that does it automatically. Known as the “Level Up” button, it actually boost performance in real-time.

Finally, high audio quality and intensity is present courtesy of the ASUS Xonar sound card.

As for temperature management, whatever individual heatsinks and fans each component has is complemented or supplemented by the exclusive ASUS DIGI+ VRM technology.

Unfortunately, as with all other ROG products, the press release had no exact availability and pricing details.
