The GPU hasn't even been officially released, but ASUS is using it anyway

Of the mobile graphics processing units released by NVIDIA a few days ago, the strongest was the GT 750M.

Word has it that a GTX 760M would appear eventually though, but it is doubly strange that it isn't that particular GPU that ASUS is using.

Instead, the company has chosen to employ a still unannounced processor, according to SweClockers and MyCom, among others.

When it built the ASUS G750JX notebook, it used the high-end GTX 770M.

The specs aren't known, but the memory could be of 3 GB, communicating over an interface of 192 bits. Given the similarity to the GTX 670MX, GTX 770M might be that one rebranded.

ASUS G750JX is a 17.3-inch notebook (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution) with 128GB SSD + 750GB hard drive storage, Thunderbolt support, Wi-Fi, and an optical drive, among other things. The starting price is €1800 / $1800.

A cheaper model, G750JW with the GeForce GTX 760M on board, is being prepared also.
