Even though AMD hasn't yet officially released their next-generation Radeon HD 4000 series graphics cards, AMD fans can already place their orders, thanks to a couple of manufacturers. Important names such as ASUS, Sapphire or PowerColor have already officially announced their version of AMD's next-generation Radeon 4000-series GPUs and users can check the specs of these cards on the above mentioned manufacturers' websites.

No matter if we are talking about the HD 4850 or the HD 4870, all three mentioned manufacturers are ready to offer you the ultimate in graphics, as proved by the latest Radeon GPU. All you need to do is choose the model that best suits your graphics requirements.

From all three manufacturers, ASUS' offer is probably the most detailed, as it offers a standard version of both the HD 4850 and the HD 4870 GPUs but also a 1GB HD 4850 version. This offer currently counts four models of AMD's latest Radeon graphics processor, each one bringing you a different software bundle and even a different specification list. If you decide to go for the high-end HD 4870, ASUS will even offer you a Leather Mouse PAD and an "Alone in the Dark" PC game, which should get you all ready for instant gaming action.

Sapphire decided to limit itself to offering a standard version of AMD's HD 4850 GPU, but will probably unveil its HD 4870 card once the latter goes official with the most recent lineup. Sapphire also decided not to include a gaming bundle for its card. The same goes for PowerColor, which will offer its HD 4850 and HD 4870 with no gaming bundle and equipped with the standard cooling system.

Besides ASUS' 1GB HD 4850 version, all cards come with the same specification list. This means a 625MHz GPU speed, 512MB of GDDR3 or GDDR5 (for the HD 4870 version) graphics memory and support for the latest Microsoft DirectX 10.1 and Shader Model 4.1.

Unfortunately none of the above mentioned manufacturers have announced the prices for their latest high-end graphics cards.
