The tablet ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform onboard

Android enthusiasts looking for a really cheap tablet should definitely take into consideration the new Asus MeMo Pad 7.

The slate has just been launched in the United States and it’s been aggressively priced at $150/€115. Check it out here.

The MeMo Pad 7 is powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and packs a 1GHz single-core processor.

The tablet embeds a VIA WM8950 chipset, a Mali-400 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM. In addition, there are 16GB of storage inside, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Asus MeMo Pad 7 sports a 7-inch LED-backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 600 x 1024 pixels resolution (170ppi). The tablet is powered by a 4270 Li-Polymer battery that should provide 7 hours of continuous usage time.
