ASUS has once again broken its short silence in order to provide the market with a new monitor, and this time it focused on ease of use and comfort, equipping the 23-inch ML238H with the Ergo-Fit II technology and a touch sensor bar on the front.

Most entry-level displays don't have much to differentiate between them, besides their prices, except minor design elements and performance tweaks.

Starting with the mainstream segment and upwards, however, end-users start to look for specific assets, such as contrast, visibility, aesthetic value etc., while browsing for a new monitor.

ASUS decided it would equip its latest 23-inch LCD (liquid crystal display) with one such asset, though it definitely left no loose ends in terms of image quality.

The 23-inch screen has a native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, which means it will not have any issues when playing Full HD multimedia files.

In addition, the dynamic contrast ratio (DCR) of a solid 10,000,000:1. Additionally, the product has a response time of 2ms (G2G) and a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2.

All in all, the image quality should be quite satisfactory, though it is hardly the only advantage that this new monitor from ASUS has to offer.

What its maker also implemented was the aforementioned Ergo-Fit II technology, which allows the angle of the display itself to be easily adjusted.

This will boost viewing comfort and, thus, contribute to the gaming or multimedia experience, or increase productivity while performing work-related tasks.

Other specifications deserving of a mention include a touch sensor bar on the front, a headphone jack and D-Sub and HDMI video inputs.

The newcomer has apparently reached European stores and is accompanied by a three-year warranty. Of course, those interested in purchasing one will have to make sure they are ready to part with 249 Euro.
