It has 5 buttons, plus a sixth one used for resolution adjustment

ASUS has released the ROG Gladius gaming mouse, which doesn't have the best optical sensor we've ever seen, but is still pretty good at 6,400 dpi.

In fact, the DPI is high enough to demand on-the-fly resolution / sensitivity adjustment, since the settings you use in a strategy game might not be the best for a fist-person shooter where you need to keep the crosshair really stable.

Thus, one of the six buttons is used for resolution adjustment alone, which means that you have five left for the normal stuff.

All of them are good for at least 20 million clicks, scroll-wheel included. In fact, the scroll and middle click buttons are reinforced. Omron mechanical switches are used all over.

That said, the new peripheral also benefits from an EEPROM onboard memory, which stores macros, acceleration and resolution settings. This allows you to always be ready to play alone, against or alongside others even when you're visiting someone else's house.

The ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Gladius mouse has a red ROG glowing logo and Teflon feet, plus a pair of detachable USB cables, 2 meters long (6.56 feet, one braided and one of rubber), and a rubber coating for most of the mouse itself. The weight is of 116 g / 4.09 oz.

Sadly, the price of the Republic of Gamers (ROG) Gladius mouse from ASUS is unknown.
