Cloud storage is quite a necessity these days, mostly because users want to access their files wherever they go, so there are lots of companies out there providing such services to customers.

ASUS is one of them, and starting recently, those on Windows 8.1 can also access their WebStorage accounts thanks to a dedicated app that runs in the Modern UI and is completely optimized for the touch.

The simply called ASUS WebStorage is very similar to the official OneDrive app, offering options to access and manage documents in the cloud, search for items, share them with friends, and create notes, snapshots, voice and video recordings or easily upload new files to the account.

“ASUS WebStorage is a cross-platform support application designed as a personal Cloud storage solution. ASUS WebStorage for Windows 8 lets you access and manage your digital documents, play music and video, and view pictures from your own personal online storage,” the app description reads.

Of course, the program works on both desktops and tablets and also offers support for Windows RT devices, such as Microsoft’s very own Surface RT and Surface 2 units.

Overall, there’s no doubt that this app should come in handy to those who are actually using this cloud service, so go ahead and download ASUS WebStorage for Windows 8.1 to see what it’s up to.
