The Federal Communications Commission approves another slate

It was just the other day that the Toshiba AT10LE-A Tegra 4 tablet was exposed by an FCC filing, and now ASUS is taking its turn.

The company is preparing a device called K005. It's not the name it will be marketed under, but it is the codename used in the FCC filing found here.

As usual, the filing is remarkably bereft of any relevant information.

Sure, the Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) SoC is mentioned (1.7 GHz clock speed), but that's about it. No memory amount, no storage, no price.

On the flip side, since this is an FCC filing, we can gleam some of the wireless capabilities: GSM, CDMA, LTE. Wi-Fi is a given of course, as is Bluetooth.

Sadly, there's no telling when the launch will happen, or what price ASUS will demand.
