As such, the hardware maker did not even bother to wait for the official opening of the Consumer Electronics Show and has already launched its N-, K- and U-series notebook PCs.
According to the company's official press release, the products are “designed to provide the best in mobile multimedia entertainment, comfort and style.” The machines do this by merging the high computing capabilities of Intel's Core i3 and i5 processors with the high-speed data transfer of the USB 3.0 or by adding such design upsides as ergonomic keyboards and natural materials for eco-friendly designs.
The K laptop series is the one bent more towards offering a “comfortable computing experience.” All laptops in this line are built user-centric and user-friendly, combining performance capabilities including the likes of the Core i3 and Core i5 processors with the Palm-proof Technology, which distinguishes between the user's fingers and palm, thus preventing the cursor from moving if the touchpad is accidentally grazed.
The ASUS Power4 Gear is another feature of the K series that provides ease of mind by adjusting the fan speed for quieter computing. Lastly, the laptops use a sunken hinge design, which enables the pleasant and comfortable viewing of any content.
The more performance-oriented line is the ASUS N series. These laptops use both Intel Core i3/i5 processors and the USB 3.0, providing multimedia enthusiasts with all that they need for instant access and high-quality playback of their multimedia files. In addition, the SonicMaster audio technology improves the sound quality while the Video Magic upscales the conventional DVD resolutions to 1080p HD. SonicMaster fine-tunes the noise balance, volume and dynamic sound changes, while minimizing the environmental interference and sound distortion.
The third laptop line showcased by the company is the U Series Bamboo Collection. These products are, obviously, designed with the tactility, scent and aesthetics of bamboo. They use a brushed aluminum case and a seamless chiclet keyboard to complete the stylish aspect and overall eco-friendly feel of the devices.
