Nexus 7 is a tablet co-branded by ASUS and Google, which means that they both have reason to be excited about the latest rise in tablet demand.

According to Digitimes, both of them agree that 2013 looks like a very ripe year for the tablet with a Qualcomm CPU, 3G and high-rest display.

They even expect millions of the second-generation Nexus 7 to sell, one million in May and eight million for the whole year.

The device isn't yet available though, and while it will ship in May, it won't be available to consumers before June or July (priced at $149-199 / 149-199 Euro).

Fortunately, it won't be out of sight in the meantime. Google will host the Google I/O developer forum from May 15-17 in San Francisco, the US, where the item will be on display.
