These days it's really hard to think of ASUS and not associate its name with one of its most recent brands, the Eee, although the Taiwanese company is known for a wide range of products, including motherboards, graphics cards, portable PCs and more. However, it looks like the manufacturer is ready to further expand its line of Eee products with the introduction of new systems that are expected to debut before the end of this year, according to a recently leaked roadmap that has made its way on the Internet.

According to a recent news-article on netbooked.net, the ASUS Eee PC netbook line includes a number of interesting models, which the company plans to launch in the near future. In October, the Taiwanese manufacturer is expected to announce the introduction of a new 12-inch system that will be based on NVIDIA's ION platform and will boast a 1.6GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 250GB HDD, Bluetooth, wireless 802.11n connectivity, all for a price tag of US$499.

In late October, the ASUS 1005HA-P will provide users with a high-capacity 250GB hard drive, a Windows 7 Starter operating system and a 10.5 Hour battery life. The outfit is also planning the launch of the 1005HA-M model, which will boast a combination of an Intel Atom N270 processor with Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system. This model will be featured with a matte display, unlike the rest of the 1005HA models.

ASUS is apparently looking to update its T91 system, which will be made available as the T91MT, boasting multi-touch display, 32GB SSD and a price tag of US$549. There's no release date on this model, but it couldn't be that far away. In addition, there's also some mentioning of the T101P, with an Atom N450 processor, Pine Trail platform and Windows 7 operating system.

The roadmap also details some of the models that will be off the market, including the 11.6-inch Eee PC 1101HA and the 10.1-inch 1008HA, which will reach EOL in October and November, respectively.
