ASUS has been dealing in laptops quite extensively lately, but has decided to get some variety going by unveiling a new range of All-in-One systems known as ET2400 and composed of 23.6-inch Full HD-ready products, one of which even boasts 3D capabilities.

All-in-One systems are so called because they cram all the processing, memory, video, I/O and display components of a desktop PC inside a single device.

The latest family from ASUS is made up of seven distinct machines, all based on processors from Intel or Advanced Micro Devices and with integrated or dedicated graphics.

Basically, ASUS went for a certain degree of variety while sticking to the same screen size of 23.6 inches and offering Full HD (1,920 x 1080 pixels) compatibility on all of them.

The list of similarities that exist between the systems includes 2GB of RAM, an optical drive, an internal storage capacity of up to 1TB and the proprietary ASUS SonicMaster Technology.

ASUS SonicMaster is a hardware and software solution that minimizes distortions in order to enhance sound clarity, leading to deeper bass and more distinct vocals, among other things.

“It is a complete hardware and software audio solution that utilizes codecs designed to minimize distortions and deliver crystal clear sound through a wide audio spectrum between 80Hz and 12 KHz,” states the official release.

“It gives richer and more distinct vocals at a wider frequency range, as well as deeper bass at the lower ranges,” the announcement adds.

The most noteworthy AiO among its peers is the ET2400XVT, which is unique by virtue of its support for rendering of 3D media. This is possible thanks to its screen refresh rate of 120Hz and the NVIDIA 3D Vision technology, which converts many games into 3D.

The exact specifications of the seven newcomers can be found in the official press release.
