Just days ago, ASUS was revealed to have already completed a netbook built around the Intel Atom N550, the new dual-core, but it seems that the company is far form finished, having supposedly already decided to bring out two more Eee PCs of this kind.

The appearance of the Atom N550 once again allowed laptop makers to raise the performance bar on their entry-level mobile computers.

ASUS is just one of the companies that announced 1.5GHz dual-core Atom N550-based netbooks, others being Lenovo and Gigabyte.

The netbook that ASUS already revealed is the Eee PC 1015PEM and uses the more or less expected combination of Pine Trail and GMA 3150 graphics, the 2GB DDR3 being a step up from the 1GB that most netbook have.

Now, the company is, based on another report made by Netbook Italia, developing another pair of such mobile personal computers.

These two supposed new creations are known as Eee PC 1215P and Eee PC 1018P and are intended for business users.

The EeePC 1215P-SIV002M has been listed in Germany with a price of 446,90 Euro (the equivalent of $569) and apparently boasts 2GB of RAM, a HDD of 250GB and WiFi, among other things.

The other laptop, Eee PC 1018P is listed in Belgium but has not been detailed, hardware-wise, which means that users still have to wait until they actually start shipping. Its price is of 413.87 Euro (the same as $526).

One can assume that the products will have integrated graphics (probably GMA 3150) and the full host of connectivity and I/O (LAN, WiFi, Bluetooth, card reader etc.), but no information exists on these aspects for now.

Finally, both models will have the Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System pre-installed. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing exactly when the official announcement will be made or when shipments will commence.
