ASUS has outed a new firmware developed for its DSL-N66U wireless router, namely version 1.0.6.7 beta, which includes several changes that improve the device’s overall performance and stability.

However, this release is still a beta version, so ASUS can't be held liable for any damage encountered after applying this latest firmware. If you update the camera to the present version, you will do so at your own risk.

As for the changes, build 1.0.6.7 beta adds support for custom system username and VDSL Profile setting, enhances the DSL Feedback feature and the sync with NTP server, and removes some route debug messages.

In addition to that, the release resolves various UI issues, some JavaScript errors, and possible access Client status bugs that lead to a system crash, and also fixes some special characters that didn’t allow users to login to the UI.

That being said, if you consider installing this version, download Firmware 1.0.6.7 Beta for ASUS DSL-N66U Router, apply it, and stay “updated one minute ago.”
