Just now, ASUS has released a new firmware update targeted at its DSL-AC68R and DSL-AC68U AC1900 wireless routers, namely version 3.0.0.4.376.2072, which includes numerous fixes especially for the WAN-related issues.

Specifically speaking, this new release resolves the Dual WAN problems, the Ethernet WAN mode Multicast Route that failed to work, as well as various UI-related errors, and updates the DSL firmware to version 1.0.1.7.

In addition to that, QIS VDSL WAN (PTM) Quick Manual Setting bugs have been resolved, the Static IP & Automatic IP setup doesn’t encounter any problems whatsoever, and the live notifications are more accurate.

If build 376.2072 is applied, the Disk Utility won’t display improper errors anymore, the Feedback feature is improved, and several ADSL Annex M mode errors are removed (especially for some Australian ISPs).

When it comes to the Quick Manual Settings, the QIS VDSL WAN (PTM) gets an additional PPP username & password field for UK ISP (Sky), and the QIS ADSL WAN (ATM) receives a predefined DNS server address for France ISP (Free Degroupe).

Therefore, if you want to make use of these changes, then save and extract the appropriate archive for your router model and update the device from the Firmware Upgrade section using the .trx file from the newly created folder.

That being said, download Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.2072 for ASUS DSL-AC68 Router, apply it on your product, and constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
