Computers running Chrome OS are characterized by a very low amount of integrated storage, since everything is run and stored in the cloud, save for the OS itself. The ASUS Chromebox is no exception.

So here it is, a small, box-like computer with HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, and the ability to run two monitors at the same time.

4K Ultra High Definition (4K/UHD) is also supported (3,480 x 2,160 pixels resolution).

802.11 b/g/n dual-band Wi-Fi is present as well, plus four USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth 4.0 and an SD card slot. Everything is run by an Intel CPU.

All buyers of the ASUS Chromebox will get 100 GB of Google Drive cloud storage. All for the price of $179 / €179.

Unfortunately, even though this is the official release, sales won't start until March 2014.
