14 DAY TRIAL // Today, ASRock has just outed new BIOS packages targeted at several of its Z87 motherboard series, which update the Instant Flash module and add support for Intel’s i7-4790K, i5-4690K, and Pentium G3258 EZ OC processors.
In addition to that, the new releases also update the Intel Management Engine (ME) and adjust the Intel Smart Connect Technology settings.
As for the compatible devices, ASRock has made available BIOS versions 1.50, 1.80, 2.10, 2.30, and 3.00 developed for its Fatal1ty Z87 Killer, Z87M OC Formula , Z87 OC Formula, Z87 Pro4, and Z87 Extreme4 motherboards.
Moreover, BIOS package 2.00 compatible with the Z87M Extreme4 and Z87 OC Formula/ac devices, as well as build 2.50 targeted at the Z87M Pro4 and Z87E-ITX boards, are also available for download.
However, bear in mind that not all changes are included in each BIOS version, therefore make sure you carefully read the changelog for your specific motherboard model before considering an upgrade.
