ASRock has recently released two server motherboards, the E3C224 and E3C224-4L. The only difference between them is the number of LAN ports. Therefore, the E3C224-4L will support quad-LAN with its four Intel i210 LAN controllers, while the E3C224 will have two.

On the drivers list you will find Windows 7, 8, Server 2003, 2008, and 2012-compatible releases, for both 32- and 64-bit architectures, mostly coming from Intel.

The boards use Intel's C224 chipset which handles all PCIE slots, as well as the USB and SPI. On the LGA 1150 socket one can install an Intel Xeon E3-1200 or E3-1200 v2 series, but it will handle Haswell i3 processors as well.

On the graphics side, an ASPEED AST2300 controller with 16MB VRAM will output video through D-Sub with a maximum resolution of up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz.

The back of the board has the usual two PS2 ports, one VGA, four USBs, two or four LAN, and a serial port.
