ASRock has just released a new BIOS for their IPC series IMB-170-V motherboard. Version 1.20 will help change VGA display boot priority.

The available formats are ASRock's own Instant Flash, DOS and Windows. According to the manufacturer's site, the recommended update method is through the UEFI BIOS.

IPC series motherboards, including the IMB-170-V, are usually not found in everyday PCs. These products are typically panel mounted and often incorporate touch screens for user interaction. You might have already interacted with an IMB-170-V based system and not know about it.

Due to its G2 socket that can host Intel's i3, i5 or i7 CPUs and embedded HD Graphics, this particular motherboard is best suited for operations that require high processing power like gaming machines or POS units, but information kiosks will need it as well.

Below is the link to the new BIOS. Download, install and stay “updated one minute ago.”
