ASRock has recently released a new BIOS for their H61M-DPS motherboard. Version 1.20 improves memory compatibility.
The new update comes only in “Instant Flash” format, so users will have to make use of ASRock's graphical UEFI BIOS interface and updater.
Another option for updating to this version is through the “Internet Flash” feature contained by the stock BIOS.
Other helpful tools are the Intel Smart Connect and Rapid Start technologies. The first will keep your email, favorite apps, and social networks automatically updated even if the system is asleep while the Rapid Start will wake your system from the deepest sleep in just seconds.
Graphics are handled by Intel's built-in HD Graphics GPU. Alongside the VGA-on-die, the American manufacturer adds Quick Sync Video, InTru 3D, Clear Video HD Technology and Intel Insider in the bundle.
