ASRock's new BIOS improves CPU compatibility for the Fatal1ty X79 Champion motherboard. This version fixes system hangs that occur with some CPUs and the failure to wake up from USB device in Windows 7 x64 GPT mode.

The new release comes with three installation options: via Windows, an Instant Flash version and through DOS.

We recommend updating via Instant Flash. ASRock crafted this in order to offer users a simple, yet quick, method of flashing the BIOS.

Instant Flash kicks in when you press the “F6” key on your keyboard, while the ASRock boot logo is displayed. The utility will automatically search you hard disk(s), USB drives, optical drives, etc. to find the BIOS versions that fit your motherboard. From here, flashing is just one click away.

Fatal1ty X79 Champion is a highly rated motherboard, suited for building gaming machines and a solid base for overclocking.

The BIOS is available for download at the link below.
