14 DAY TRIAL // ARCHOS has made available a new firmware package targeted at one of its tablets, namely version 20140213.175138 developed for the GamePad 2 device, which includes some changes that should improve the device’s overall performance and stability.
Specifically speaking, the new GamePad 2 update increases the device’s display refresh rate from 57Hz to 60Hz, fixes the GPU texture artifacts encountered in certain games, and integrates the latest Google apps.
When it comes to installing this version, get the downloadable “update.zip” archive and transfer it onto the root folder of the device’s internal storage through a USB cable – make sure you don’t copy it into any other folder, otherwise the tablet won’t update.
