14 DAY TRIAL // APT (Advanced Package Tool), a set of core tools inside Debian that make it possible to install, remove, and keep applications up to date, is now at version 0.9.15.1.
Advanced Package Tool was launched back in 1998, and 15 years later it's almost at version 1.0. The developers are still releasing small increments, and it will take it a while to get to 1.0.
Highlights of APT 0.9.15.1:
• gpg --homedir is now used instead of explicit file placement; • SVG is now used in doxygen; • DebSrcRecordParsers is now only restarted if needed; • apt-get download truncation has been fixed; • A multiarch package upgrade issue has been fixed.
