14 DAY TRIAL // Controversial MMO APB Reloaded gets a companion in the form of APB Retribution, a mobile spin-off for the iOS featuring top-down action.
APB studio Reloaded Productions teamed up with Scotland-based Blazing Griffin for the development of the top-down tactical shooter, the project taking place over a period of six months, as reported by Develop.
The game will take players into the shady backstreets of San Paro, where they will be faced with the heavily-armed crime lords of the city's underworld.
“Working alongside Blazing Griffin has allowed us to expand and explore a different aspect of the APB universe, whilst still concentrating on content creation for APB Reloaded,” said Reloaded Productions MD Michael Boniface.
APB Retribution marks Reloaded's plan to expand beyond its main MMO, an undertaking made possible by the co-development experience and the level of creative freedom the smaller studio has been granted on this project.
APB Retribution is due for release on iOS sometime this month.
