Deep Silver, Reloaded Games and The Workshop Entertainment announce the upcoming release of massively multiplayer online game APB Reloaded on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One home consoles.

The free-to-play action MMO All Points Bulletin: Reloaded is coming to Sony and Microsoft's consoles during the second quarter of 2015 and will maintain the same business model from the PC edition of the title.

The game was initially launched on PC back in 2010, but following the demise of its initial developer, a couple of changes were made, and the title was re-released in 2011 as a free-to-play experience supported by in-game microtransactions.

Another F2P MMO coming to consoles

The game is set in the near future, in the fictional city of San Paro, where the Enforcers are fighting the Criminals for control of the city, in an attempt to maintain a state of martial law.

APB Reloaded offers players a ton of customization options, from player character to vehicles, and involves large-scale battles of up to 50 versus 50 players. The game also offers thousands of destructible objects and will take full advantage of the power of current-gen hardware to provide a great console experience.

Xbox players will require an Xbox Live Gold subscription to be able to enjoy it, but Sony's fans won't need a PlayStation Network subscription in order to play.
